SLG to Power Shanghai’s New 480-Meter Landmark with Clean Electric Heating

SLG has secured a major project to provide 19 atmospheric-pressure electric hot water boilers and the complete building heating system for a new 480-meter supertall landmark in Shanghai.

Designed as an all-electric building, the project replaces conventional fossil-fuel heating with electric heating solutions to support lower-carbon building operations.

SLG’s atmospheric-pressure electric hot water boilers feature integrated design, flexible modular control, comprehensive safety protection and clean, emission-free operation — making them well suited for large-scale commercial buildings with demanding heating requirements.

This project marks another important step for SLG in the green building sector and further demonstrates its capabilities in clean heating equipment and low-carbon energy solutions for landmark urban developments.
