SLG Supports Successful 168-Hour Trial Operation of Shangluo Power Phase II Unit 3

Unit 3 of the Shangluo Power Phase II project has successfully completed 168 hours of full-load trial operation and entered commercial service.

The project features two 660MW ultra-supercritical indirect air-cooled units. One of its key highlights is the innovative “two units, one tower” configuration — the first of its kind adopted by Shaanxi Investment Group.

SLG supplied the project’s indirect air-cooling system, bringing decades of expertise in air-cooling technology and fully proprietary intelligent all-steel indirect cooling solutions.

The 225-meter-high cooling tower uses a compact shared-tower design that helps reduce land use and investment while maintaining strong operational performance.

During the 168 hours, the unit delivered stable operation, strong key performance indicators and high automation availability, marking another important milestone for the project.
