SLG Secures Order for 14 Heat Exchangers for ADNOC Offshore Project in the UAE

SLG has secured an order to supply 14 high-performance shell-and-tube heat exchangers for the Lower Zakum Long Term Development Plan (LTDP-1), Package 5 – DAS Island Terminal Facilities in the United Arab Emirates.

Located approximately 65 km northwest of Abu Dhabi in the Arabian Gulf, the Lower Zakum field is one of the UAE's largest and longest-producing offshore oilfields. The DAS Island Terminal Facilities serve as a key hub for oil and gas gathering, processing, heat exchange, and export, supporting the field's long-term production.

Designed for demanding offshore environments, the heat exchangers will operate under high salt spray, high humidity, corrosive process media, and significant temperature fluctuations. The equipment is engineered for long-term reliability, combining corrosion resistance, high thermal efficiency, lightweight offshore installation, and compliance with API and ASME standards.
