Projects at the 2026 China Power Construction Technology Expo

The 2026 Conference on Power Construction Technology Development and the 2nd Exhibition of Intelligent New Power Construction Equipment recently took place at Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center.

At the exhibition, SLG showcased two landmark projects in large-scale air cooling technology:

🔹 Zhangye Power Plant — a benchmark 1,000 MW all-steel indirect air cooling tower project

🔹 Zhengning Power Plant — featuring the world’s first “five-tower-integrated” all-steel indirect air cooling system for a 1,000 MW power unit

These projects demonstrate SLG’s integrated air cooling solution for large-scale power generation in the Gobi and desert regions of Northwest China, where extremely dry climates and harsh operating conditions place demanding requirements on cooling systems.

By combining advanced all-steel cooling tower technology with extensive engineering expertise, SLG is helping develop reliable and efficient cooling solutions for large-scale power projects in some of the most challenging environments.
