SLG Green Hydrogen Intelligent Control System: Powering Smarter Hydrogen Production

As green hydrogen projects continue to grow worldwide, efficiently matching variable renewable power with hydrogen production remains a key challenge.

To address this, SLG has developed its Green Hydrogen Intelligent Control System, integrating AI algorithms, real-time monitoring, and intelligent optimization to improve the efficiency, reliability, and economics of renewable-powered hydrogen production.

The system is powered by three core technologies:

Renewable Power Forecasting – predicting wind and solar generation to support smarter production planning.

Electrolyzer Cluster Optimization – automatically optimizing start-stop sequences and load distribution across electrolyzer arrays.

Performance Diagnostics – continuously monitoring system health and enabling predictive maintenance.

Through intelligent control and energy management, the system can improve operational efficiency by 5–20%, while enhancing equipment reliability and maximizing renewable energy utilization.

SLG's hydrogen technology has already been demonstrated in international projects, including the ACME Oman Green Hydrogen & Green Ammonia Project and the United Solar Polysilicon Project in Oman, where SLG electrolyzers have been successfully delivered and commissioned.

To further validate large-scale applications, SLG has also established a MW-scale Green Hydrogen Intelligent Cluster Control Test Platform, providing a real-world environment for testing intelligent operation strategies under fluctuating renewable energy conditions.
