SLG Boiler Systems Support CNNC Jinta Green Electricity Steam Supply Project
2026-05-14
Recently, the launch ceremony of the CNNC Jinta Energy Island and Zero-Carbon Green Electricity Steam Supply Project was successfully held in Jinta County.
SLG boiler systems provided a customized solution of 10 sets of electrode steam boilers for the project’s steam supply station. The system serves as a core support for efficient energy conversion and flexible dispatch, fully meeting the requirements of the zero-carbon energy island design. Meanwhile, the electrode boiler system ensures the capability to provide safe, reliable, stable, and efficient steam output for the project’s molten salt energy storage system at any time, offering dual assurance for green electricity-based steam supply.
Efficient green electricity conversion
Relying on a 1.6 million kW clean energy base, the project efficiently converts green electricity into stable industrial steam, with an annual steam supply capacity of 2.58 million tons, providing full-cycle green energy support for nuclear industry applications.
Zero-carbon stable energy supply
The project integrates renewable power generation, electric molten salt thermal storage, and electrode boiler systems. Aligned with local wind and solar resource characteristics, it builds a complete “Wind/Solar–Heat–Storage” system. This enables clean steam supply and coal substitution through end-use electrification, representing SLG’s continued progress in renewable energy utilization applications.
This project reflects SLG’s capability in high-end energy equipment and zero-carbon system integration. Moving forward, SLG will continue to focus on green energy solutions, contributing to industrial energy transition, large-scale park decarbonization, and energy structure optimization, and providing practical experience from China for global industrial decarbonization.
