SLG and Kazakhstan Utility Systems LLP (KKC) Held a Project Kick-Off Meeting for a Contract Valued at $146 Million in Karaganda

We are pleased to announce that on June 18, SLG and Kazakhstan Utility Systems LLP (KKC) held a project kick-off meeting for a contract valued at $146 million in Karaganda. KKC is a large energy group in Kazakhstan that integrates power generation, transmission, distribution, and heating services.

As part of this collaboration, SLG is providing a full set of equipment for the expansion of the Karaganda State Comprehensive Energy Centre. This will address the heating issues affecting nearly one-third of Karaganda State's population and tackle the problems of inconsistent heating supply and low temperatures. This project marks a significant milestone in SLG's market development in Central Asia. The next steps will involve SLG and KKC enhancing cooperation in the areas of photovoltaic energy, clean energy heating, and the efficient use of energy. Together, these efforts will contribute to the green development of the local economy and the reform of the energy structure.
