SLG Awarded Contract For 2x660 MWV UItra-Supercritical CHP Project

2026-02-05

SLG has been awarded the contract for the surface condenser natural draft indirect air-cooling system for a 2×660 MW ultra-supercritical combined heat and power (CHP) project in Northwest China.

The project is a key coal-fired power development under the regional energy strategy, with a total investment of approximately RMB 6 billion. It is designed to construct two 660 MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired units equipped with indirect air-cooling systems, along with flue gas desulfurization, denitrification, and dust removal facilities.

Positioned as a stable power source for regional energy supply and renewable energy integration, the project will also serve as a centralized heat source for local industries and urban areas. Upon completion, the high-parameter, large-capacity CHP units will provide district heating as well as industrial steam, meeting both residential and industrial energy demand.
